Welcome to my Online Portfolio

     I'm Chris Hatcher, a 2010 graduate of Emory & Henry College in Emory, VA with a B.A. in Mass Communications. I am particularly interested in pursuing a career in sports commentary, but am also adept in many other areas of communications. I have interned at WCYB-TV 5, a television station in Bristol, VA, as a news videographer. I have also worked as a freelance journalist for The Bristol Herald Courier and interned with WABN 1230 AM/FM 103.3 as a disc jockey.

     My campus media experience is extensive, as I have served as a Co-Anchor for EHC-TV (the campus television program), a Sports Commentator for WEHC (the campus radio station), the Sports Editor of The Whitetopper (the campus newspaper), EHCWired (the Mass Communications' Department's student-run news website) and the Sphinx (the college's yearbook). I am also a blogger for Gowasps.com (the E&H PR Department's Sports Website). Compiled on this site are many samples of my work in these media experiences.
